His mother, Lucyna, struggles to raise him. She fears Filip. She decides to send him to a treatment center and convinces her husband, Stefan, to do the same. A darkness descends upon the family. Filip flees the center into the forest, where he feels safer. There, he encounters a demon and befriends it. Lucyna and Stefan search for their lost son. They battle nature and each other. In the final battle, the demon rips out Lucyna&#039;s heart, but only so Filip can save her. Lucyna regains her heart and decides not to send her son to the center.
