He has an idealized image of his father, who supposedly died during the Iraq War, crushed by a food container. Damian receives an offer from Magda (32), the mayor of a small town, to lead a survival course in the woods. He doesn&#039;t know if he can cope without his mother, but Magda makes a great impression on him, so he agrees. In the wilderness, he&#039;ll have to mature quickly and metaphorically kill his own mother. In the finale, however, Damian will clash with his... father, who years earlier faked his own death and founded an ultra-masculine sect of forest preppers.
