She almost succeeds when she falls under a garbage truck and ends up in a wheelchair. To regain her full mobility, she must undergo lengthy rehabilitation. Her mother is unsure how to help her daughter, whose world has just collapsed. The solution is a trip to her uncle, Stefan, who runs a family-run children&#039;s home in the mountains for teenagers who have been torn apart by life. Nastka must navigate a world where the wheelchair turns out to be just one of many problems. This unexpectedly gives her the strength to fight. Nastka&#039;s rehabilitation is progressing steadily, and she is taking her first steps.
