Marta Szymanowska

Producer of documentary and fiction films. She is a partner at Kijora Film, a Warsaw-based production company. Between 2022 and 2025, she worked as an independent script analyst (coverage analyst) for the international sales agency The Match Factory.

She was awarded the Cannes Producers Network Prize for Promising Young Producers in 2024.

She holds degrees in Law and Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities. She is an alumna of EAVE Slate 2024, IMPAKT Producers Lab 2021, and Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris 2023, a postgraduate producing programme run jointly by La Fémis, NFTS, and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

Her films have been co-produced by broadcasters and institutions including ARTE, France 2, RTS, RSI, and TVP. They have received support from a range of international funding bodies, including France’s CNC Cinéma du Monde, the Polish Film Institute, the German regional fund MDM, Creative Europe MEDIA, Eurimages, and others.
