Participant opinions
The Screenwriting Workshop is a space for developing a script in a larger group, allowing participants to view their own project from different perspectives. It’s also a place to meet industry professionals, which broadens participants’ knowledge and makes them realize that a film’s success isn’t determined solely by a good screenplay—it’s influenced by many factors and the people you encounter along the way. For me, the Atelier was also a place to discover new talent and, quite simply, make new friends. The experience of participating in the Screenplay Atelier developed not only the script itself, but above all me as a filmmaker, strengthening my voice and my approach to working on and thinking about the script.

The Screenwriting Workshop is an all-inclusive screenwriting experience, departing economy class and returning first class. A complete journey through the screenwriter's skillset – from focused work on scene details and understanding actors, through the ability to ask insightful questions of oneself and others – to legal aspects, options, production, pitching, networking, and more. Everything is delivered with full commitment and practicality, in a great atmosphere, alongside talented people who want to help you. A mega-valuable experience. I highly recommend it and don't hesitate at all.

I came to the Screenwriting Workshop with a rough outline of an idea and a text that was really just a rough draft. I didn’t expect much, because I’d gotten out of the habit of studying. Suddenly, it turned out that I was among valuable, wise people who offered invaluable insights into what I had written. Our intuitions were recognized and developed further. We discussed, we argued, but above all, we listened. As a result, our script took on a new form, which we [together with Krzysztof Grudziński] were able to successfully present to the producers. So it is only fitting to say: thank you.

Stories can create the soft power of communities around the world. After the success of "Kosa," I joined a start-up creating an RPG game where dialogue and story are key, with the hit "Disco Elysium" as our benchmark. We've secured over $8 million from South Korean investors and will compete in the global gaming market. Without the Scenario Studio, I wouldn't be here.

Participating in the 8th Screenplay Atelier was one of the most exceptional professional and intellectual experiences for me. The script consultant course deepened my existing knowledge in an incredibly inspiring way. It allowed me to understand how to consciously support creatives in the writing process, maintaining a balance between constructive analysis and space for their artistic vision. I see how much can be achieved through dialogue, mindfulness, and mutual trust. Thanks to this, I began to appreciate the subtle nuances in stories—those that determine a story's emotional authenticity and its powerful impact on the audience.
