Katarzyna Warzecha

A graduate of the Katowice Film School and Wajda School & Studio, she studied directing. Her short film "We Have One Heart" was the most frequently viewed Polish documentary abroad in 2021. She has collaborated with Filip Bajon and Agnieszka Holland, among others. She is co-director of the series "Absolute Beginners" (Netflix).

SYNOPSIS

After months of hard work in Norway, Miłka, a 30-year-old modern nomad, heads to the Bieszczady Mountains to buy her dream camper and head to warm Spain. A sudden breakdown forces her to stay in one place for a while and build relationships that unexpectedly become important to her. These relationships give her the opportunity to confront her notions of freedom and independence before she flees once again.
