Weronika Stencel

Co-founder of Radio Klang, literary critic, and editor-in-chief of the magazine www.musisieukazac.pl. She operates under the Tokosłów company. She is the screenwriter of the film "Pomagacze" (Helpers) in collaboration with Animoon and Betina Bożek, and the author of the text for "Deserowy dachshund." She works for the Nowy Napis Quarterly.

“"Helpers" is a film about a civil servant – Mr. Kundelka – who lives in the town of Wafeldorf during the era of "success culture," unaware that he is being aided by invisible creatures – the Helpers. He is overwhelmed by insecurities, dependence on his father, and workaholism. He transforms thanks to his love for Mrs. Żabut, a reptile enthusiast. Kundelka's eyesight, sharpened by love, comes across the Helpers. Kundelka calls them a virus and rejects them. From that moment on, she isolates herself, dehumanizes herself, and transforms into a snake. In this form, she joins the reptiles living in the woman's terrarium, forming a closer bond with her. During this time, the Helpers are divided into those who want to leave and those who decide to stay with the human, while Kundelka begins to understand the meaning of her own needs and love.
