BIO

A scholarship holder from the Minister of National Education and the City of Warsaw, she won the Panavision Award, PYD 2017. A graduate of the Directing Program at the Wajda School and a Master's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, specializing in film production, she creates films that pose questions that lack simple answers.

SYNOPSIS

The story of fifteen-year-old, rebellious Hela, who is sent to a care center run by nuns. Hela desperately wants to escape to find her younger sister, the only person she feels close to. Without money or documents, she sets off on a journey through Poland. Hela intends to kidnap her sister and take her abroad. Little does she know that her encounter with her sister will prove far more difficult than the journey she has already traveled. It will force Hela to confront herself and, for the first time in her life, make a difficult, yet conscious, and adult decision.
