SYNOPSIS

In a small town, 17-year-old Ania is murdered. An acquaintance of the victim confesses to the crime. Rafał, a long-time local police officer, arrests the boy and closes the investigation. When the deceased's friends begin receiving threatening messages from her Facebook account, a young policewoman from Warsaw, Maja, reopens the case. She sees solving the case as an opportunity for promotion and a return to her former position in the capital. Rafał desperately tries to prove his version of events is true and that Kamil is the murderer. Rafał's problems at work and frustration impact his situation at home, particularly his relationship with his adolescent son, Dawid. Everything changes when a mysterious hacker kidnaps Dawid.
