SYNOPSIS
A 56-year-old director casts a teenage girl of Roma descent in the title role of his film. A friendship bordering on fascination develops between him and the girl. Their relationship becomes complicated when the director begins an affair with another actress in the film. Romina declines the role and—heedless of the consequences—runs off the set. The director has to convince her to return, but when he succeeds, she returns on different terms.
