She holds an MA in Film Directing from the Polish National Film School in Łódź, where she has been teaching screenwriting since 2013. She further developed her expertise through international training programmes and workshops, including Six Days of Practice in Berlin and Midpoint Training in Prague and Łódź.

Her short films "A Song for Rebecca" and "The Water Fight" were selected for the Cinéfondation competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

Her film "How to Be My Mother" received numerous awards at international film festivals around the world. Her feature debut, "Sanctuary", won multiple awards and was nominated for Best Film at the British Independent Film Awards in 2013. She is currently co-writing a Norwegian feature film project selected for Torino Script Lab 2024.
