SYNOPSIS

Iga, a 21-year-old Polish woman, has been awaiting trial in a Norwegian prison for drug smuggling for a year. She convinced her family and friends that she was framed. When Sara, the friend with whom she smuggled the drugs, is transferred to the same prison, questions arise about the unclear nature of their relationship and the true reason for Iga's arrival in Norway. The women test the boundaries between friendship and love, shifting blame. Trying to define what truly unites them, Iga escapes the truth into fantasies and memories. She wanders through a dark Norwegian forest, retracing the path that led her here. When Iga's mother involves the media, the case gathers momentum. But it is this private trial – between the girls – that will prove the most difficult, because to regain her freedom, Iga must sacrifice Sara for her.
