BIO

She graduated from the Acting Department of the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Her film credits include "Księstwo," "Panie Dulskie," "Kamerdyner," and "Cudak." She has been writing and directing short films for several years. Her original film, "Howcy," was selected for several international festivals. She is currently completing her studies in Directing at the Gdynia Film School, where she directed her graduation film, "Sabina," starring Izabela Kuna in the title role.

SYNOPSIS

The story of Daria, who, on her fifteenth birthday, sneaks out of horse camp and goes with her friend Martyna to the Manieczki disco to meet real, grown-up men. Daria meets Łukasz, and from then on, her life changes. Daria enters a world where sex, manipulation, cruelty, and drugs play a huge role. The adult world is beyond her.

By telling the story of Manieczki, I'd like to show that there's no point in rushing anything. Growing up is a process, and any attempt to cut corners can be painful—sometimes for life.
