SYNOPSIS
Dorota (28), a domineering journalist working at a gossip magazine, is sent on a business trip to a seaside resort in the last days of summer to document the stay at a sanatorium of Nola Zawadzky (88), a major film star of the past. A lighthearted intern, Basia (22), is assigned to assist her. Seeking to find Nola among the crowds of wayward patients, the women must adapt to the resort's daily routine, where brine baths alternate with games of bridge and dancing. As frustration mounts over the intern's chaotic work ethic and the shrinking time available for completing assignments, Adam, the owner of a local café, stands in Dorota's way.
