BIO

In a Masurian town, 15-year-old Tomek is being bullied at school. In an act of self-defense, he bites off the ear of one of his bullies. To avoid a youth detention center, he must attend regular therapy sessions. His parents are unable to cope with their son's emotional problems. However, his acquaintance with Magda, a therapist, leads him to experience his first encounter with a girl from his school desk. Tomek begins to compete with Wojtek, the leader of the bullies, for her affections. During one of the therapy sessions, he concocts a lie that disqualifies Wojtek in the eyes of the local community. When this is discovered, Tomek is severely humiliated by the residents of his own town.

SYNOPSIS

Eliza (50) and Wiktor (54) live in a long, routine relationship. While working at the pool, Eliza encounters a mysterious Being – non-human, beautiful, and magnetic. A bond develops between them. Eliza conceals the details of their increasingly sensual relationship from her husband. Wiktor notices that something strange is happening to his wife. He desperately searches for a rational explanation. Contact with the Being awakens in Eliza lust and a desire to live, but destroys her marriage. The encounter with the otherworldly being forces the couple to confront the truth about their relationship. Is their love a feeling, or just habit? An intelligent melodrama about a woman who cheats to find herself.
