A sociologist, journalist, and screenwriter, she studied at the University of Warsaw and the Łódź Film School. In 2016, after a series of reportages from the Serbian-Hungarian border, she embarked on a journey through refugee camps, documenting the migration crisis in Europe with her camera. She believes that a world without irony and a sense of humor would be meaningless.

SYNOPSIS

Maria, a former pilot, treats everything as a task. When her life derails after her child's death, she tries to regain it, like her flying license. She goes to therapy, rents an apartment, and finds a temporary job as a cleaner. There, she meets Magda, a client. In her new tenement building, she meets a boy, Kacper. His constant presence confronts Maria with her own feelings. Furthermore, Kacper's father and her own husband are jealous of her relationship with her child. And Maria begins to accept the fact that she never wanted to be a mother. She doesn't know how to live with it or how to talk about it. She receives help from Magda, who makes her realize that she doesn't have to blame herself, and that the only person who needs forgiveness is herself.
