Screenwriter, editor, journalist, and communications specialist. She studied theater studies and journalism at the Jagiellonian University. She is the author of the animated children's series "Eryk the Brave Lion," broadcast on Mini Mini+. She writes for television and various cultural institutions in Poland and Belgium. She lives in Brussels.

SYNOPSIS

Borsuk is a fifteen-year-old full of insecurities, whose biggest worries are his lack of friends and the fact that he still looks like a child. At the beginning of summer, he meets Tony, a local skateboarding star. The boy becomes his idol and his gateway to the skateboarding community, who, in Borsuk's eyes, embody masculinity and ease. The best summer of his life, full of fun and madness, unexpectedly turns into the end of the world. One day, Tony collapses at the skatepark and receives a devastating diagnosis. How will Borsuk cope with the loss of his first true friend? Is there a place for him in the group without Tony? Puberty will prove far more difficult than any skateboarding trick.
