SYNOPSIS
Róża is an aspiring pianist who loses control of her hands while playing. While awaiting test results, she flees the city for a remote mountainous area. During a visit to her home village, Róża confronts her exceptionally musical childhood friend, Teresa, and, despite their disagreement, decides to record her voice. Teresa, a hairdresser who has never left her birthplace, vocalizes melodies to the sounds and movements around her. Recording Teresa isn't easy, as her friend keeps Róża at a distance and sings mainly when she's alone. Róża, however, wants to convince her that the world needs to hear her. Getting closer to the mystery of Teresa's voice will be the key to Róża's healing.
