BIO
Director and screenwriter. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and from the Faculty of Directing at the Faculty of Television and Radio Television of the University of Silesia in Katowice. She directed episodes of the series "O mnie się nie waha" (2020) for TVP and co-created the series "Sexify" (2021-2023) for Netflix. Her short film "Polish Dream" (2023), written with Marta Jagniewska, is currently in the festival circuit.
SYNOPSIS
38-year-old Ada—like the manager of a failing circus—strives to please everyone around her. She bravely plays the role of the ideal mother, wife, and daughter—until she embarrasses herself at a school party. Her repressed needs begin to emerge, taking the form of macabre fantasies. Ada then stumbles upon Wiktor's unconventional writing workshop, where she discovers her talent. The overprotective mother and weary wife transforms into a rebellious artist who falls in love with her lecturer and longs for a second youth. She begins to neglect her home and loses herself in increasingly nightmarish visions that offer her demonic solutions for the future. Will she sacrifice her family for freedom?
