Krzysztof is a child therapist in the midst of a midlife crisis. He has only two problems in life: his failed life and his father, Zygmunt, a retired superhero nicknamed the Bell Man. When Krzysztof is forced to care for a sick elderly man who was thrown out of a superhero care home for misbehavior, his seemingly orderly life collapses like a house of cards. His father, whose superpowers have been reduced to super-snarky, wants to attend the Superhero Convention and, first, track down his long-ago nemesis, the Black Smoke. Krzysztof must help him. This gives father and son one last chance to mend their relationship, grow up… and maybe even save the world.
