SYNOPSIS
“"Atoms" is a dark comedy about grief and the horrors of adolescence. Eccentric 11-year-old Marianna and her father, a physics professor, navigate the daily grind following the death of her mother. They create their own world filled with hypochondria and a love for comedian Benny Hill. However, the girl hides from her father the fact that her mother regularly appears to her in visions. He surprises his daughter by deciding to move into the home of his new girlfriend, the sensual doctor Alina. To defend her mother's memory and regain her former position at her father's side, the girl pursues increasingly radical schemes to get rid of Alina.
