BIO

Born in 1992, she is a film director and screenwriter. She holds an MA in Directing from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School. She is a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2019, she received the HBO Award in the Doc Lab Poland – Doc To Start competition for her film project "Lili." Since 2021, she has been directing television series.

SYNOPSIS

Struggling with insomnia, Julia finds herself suspended in limbo between the day of her father's funeral and the day her grandfather disappears – both events linked by a secret her father tried to protect her from. Thrust into a whirlwind of a search, she reconnects with relatives she's previously estranged from, confronts her own demons, and unknowingly falls into the trap of a family practicing endocannibalism.
