This year's Screenplay Atelier participants will spend the entire coming week at the Gdańsk City Culture Institute, developing their screenplay projects under the guidance of experts and audiovisual industry specialists. The Gdańsk Film Commission and the Gdańsk Film Fund are joint partners in this seaside session.
The program for this Atelier session includes two main blocks of activities. The first focuses on working with texts – participants participate in individual consultations and dramaturgical workshops dedicated to writing and analyzing scenes. As usual, they develop their projects under the guidance of experienced script consultants, our tutors: Filip Kasperaszek, Aleksandra Świerk, and Norah McGettigan. Participants in the script consultant module will also provide support for the writers. Additionally, creative activities are planned to stimulate the imagination and inspire creative work.
The second block covers topics related to the audiovisual industry. Joanna Szymańska will lead a comprehensive workshop on the functioning of the film market and, together with Anna Bielak, will lead workshops on project presentations and developing materials for producers.

The title partner of the Script Atelier is Canal+ Polska SA. Thanks to this collaboration and substantive support, workshop participants have the opportunity to understand the market from the perspective of a broadcaster and producer.
